Francesconi hired Barney and Worth to audit parks. This report is over 100 pages, this document is edited for brevity (52 pages.) Its assessment of “what’s wrong with Parks today” is still relevant in 2007.
the story so far…
A group of Portland residents, initially centered around Mt. Tabor in SE Portland, Oregon, have become concerned about the future of park maintenance, and the capacity for sustaining parks we can take pride in for generations to come. We are working with the Parks bureau and community members, with the blessing of City Council, to craft a plan.
